This was a good place to land after walking around Baegun Lake. The cold broth was what I wanted after a warm morning outside. Despite the name, the restaurant we visited is in Uiwang, not Chuncheon.

The bowl

I chose mul makguksu—cold buckwheat noodles in broth. The photographed menu lists it at ₩10,000, with a larger portion costing ₩2,000 extra.

The noodles had a firm bite. I added a little vinegar and mustard from the table, tasting as I went. The bowl worked best for me as a refreshing lunch rather than a destination meal by itself.

Parking and location

It’s on Baegunhoso-ro 5-gil near the lake. The visit’s parking notice offered one hour at the Bricks Baegun parking building; we needed to give staff the car number. Confirm the current arrangement before parking.
