Our two bowls of noodles.
Our two bowls of noodles.

We came to the peninsula branch near Metropark Hotel for breakfast. The shop was quiet that morning, and the hot-and-sour broth was gentler than I’d expected.

How we ordered

We used the photo menu to choose a set, noodles and spice level. I chose sweet-potato glass noodles. We tried a mild bowl and a medium one; the medium had more heat, but both were manageable for me.

The photographed menu lists set A at MOP 69, set B at MOP 80 and egg fried rice at MOP 51. Those are individual menu prices from the visit.

Don’t overlook the fried rice

The fried rice had separate grains and a little richness; a spoonful of sour broth balanced it nicely. It was the side I’d order again.

Before sitting down

During our visit, payment was upfront and cash was requested. Check the current payment rules and set prices when ordering. The shop also had table-sharing notices, even though we didn’t need to share that morning.
