Fishcakes and rice cakes in broth.
Fishcakes and rice cakes in broth.

I come here after dinner for fishcake skewers, warm broth and a beer. The room is small, but that close, casual atmosphere is part of why I like it.

What I’d order

Start with eomuk—Korean fishcakes—and add mul-tteok, the chewy rice cake skewers. The pot stays warm on a tabletop burner, so I can sip broth between bites.

For a side, I liked the meoktae: dried pollack served with a dipping sauce.

Useful to know

The photographed menu set a five-skewer minimum per person for fishcake-only orders, at ₩2,000 each. Draft beer was ₩5,000. Five skewers and two beers therefore totalled ₩20,000 at those prices.

I’ve waited outside on a busy evening. It has limited seating, so I’d keep the group small. My route was from Sadang Station Exit 8; the menu was in Korean.
