Our skewers and drinks.

Toriaez is where I go for a few skewers after dinner. The small counter-facing space works for a drink alone or a second stop with one friend.

What I liked

We ordered garlic, ginkgo nuts, chicken heart, gizzard and a whole wing. The heart had a springy bite, the gizzard was firmer, and the wing had crisp skin. I’d order those again instead of trying to work through the entire menu.

The photographed menu lists garlic at ₩1,300, ginkgo nuts at ₩1,500, heart at ₩1,700, gizzard at ₩1,800 and a whole wing at ₩3,500. These are visit prices, per skewer.

Ordering and seating

We wrote our choices on a paper order slip and handed it to the server. The menu was in Korean, so a translation app is useful if you don’t read it.

The tables are small, with limited space for bags. I’d choose it for one or two people rather than a large group. It’s on Dongjak-daero 27ga-gil near Isu Station; check current hours before a late visit.
